I’ve lost a friend and I miss him so much.

Good Bye 2019

For the last time in 2019, good bye and good night from Rm116.
As I sit here alone in the studio, all I can do is think about everything that's happened this year and my oh my was it a wild year. I hit my highest high in the first half and my lowest low in the second.
I graduated and lived the most boujee 2 weeks in my life in Southern California, then came home and immediately felt lost without a purpose these past couple months. (Those rejection letters were piling up and so was the stress!) Some relationships and friendships were lost, some were rekindled, and more importantly new ones were formed.
As this year... and decade (wow) comes to a close, I've learned to treasure those around me. I learned that a lot of people believe in me more than I could ever believe in myself. Even strangers around the world are giving me a chance. I owe them my everything.
I became the first kid in my family to graduate college, I got to teach photography in a college setting, I finished all my grad school applications, I co-opened a studio space and founded a non-profit. This is just the beginning.
What a year, what a decade.
As we usher in the new year, I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year and to make 2020 ya b*tch! Let's get it! .
